Sunday rest day

Respect Sunday as a day of rest

We try to respect Sunday as a day of rest. Therefore, no arrivals or check-ins are allowed on Sundays.

Departures on Sunday are permitted, but we kindly ask you to arrange everything as much as possible on Saturday. On Sundays, we are available only for emergencies.

Access and parking

Keep farm access clear

• Please keep the farmyard and the access road to the rear clear for trucks and agricultural vehicles.
• There are no fixed pitches. Especially in wet weather, please drive as little as possible on the grass.

WiFi

WiFi is available

• WiFi is available across the campsite and farm.
• The password is available upon request and printed on the physical rules document.

Electricity

Use power carefully

• Power outlets can be found under the red and green covers and behind the shower unit.
• Currently, there are 20 connections of 6A.
• The power box next to the green silo is always unlocked.
• In case of a problem, you can reset the earth leakage switch or the circuit breaker corresponding to your connection.

Noise, waste, and conduct

Keep the campsite quiet and clean

• No audible music or media.
• Excessive alcohol consumption will not be tolerated.
• Do not dispose of non-biodegradable waste in the toilet.
• A trash bin is located next to the sanitary unit.

Liability and safety

Stay careful around the farm

• We are not liable for damage, theft of personal property or that of third parties, or for personal injury.
• Please be careful of uneven concrete slabs, both on the way to and on the camper site.

Farm access and animals

Visit farm areas only by arrangement

• The farm and animals can be visited by arrangement, including observing milking in the morning and evening.
• It is not permitted to enter the barns or fields with animals on your own initiative.
• A first aid kit is available in the washing area of the sanitary unit.
• The nearest AED is located at the nearby brick factory.

Dogs

Dogs are allowed under strict conditions

• Dogs are allowed on the campsite under strict conditions.
• Dogs are not allowed in the fields or livestock housing.

We ask you to look up the cattle disease “Neospora” to understand why we discourage unfamiliar dogs near the animals.

The rear entrance of the campsite leads to an unpaved public road, where you are welcome to walk freely, with or without a dog.

Our own Border Collie, Linn, is allowed to roam freely everywhere. She is used to help guide the cows.

She enjoys playing with a ball but is not a cuddly dog. Please do not take risks: do not grab her and do not bring your face close to her mouth.

Prices and payment

Payment before departure

The price based on a camper with 2 persons is currently:
€20.20 per night, including tourist tax.

The tourist tax in Wageningen is €2.10 per person per night. This tax is charged per person per overnight stay.

Facilities are free of charge, except for the shower and electricity.

• Shower: €0.50 coin required
• Electricity: €2.00 per connection per day excluding air conditioning

Please record meter readings if applicable.

Alternatively, payment can be placed in an envelope in the blue camper mailbox near the sanitary unit.

Please ensure payment is made before departure.

Note: Students, course participants, and residents of Wageningen do not pay tourist tax. Please indicate “student” with your payment if applicable.
